Woodford County Schools Superintendent Danny Adkins has announced his retirement effective June 30, 2025. As part of the process in hiring the next superintendent, the Woodford County Board of Education will hold a public forum to gain community input on the candidate qualities and attributes that the public values in the next superintendent. The Board of Education members will be in attendance to listen but not to respond to questions. The forum will occur on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Woodford County High School auditorium at 145 School House Road in Versailles. You may also email your comments prior to the forum to Don Martin, Superintendent Search consultant for the Kentucky School Boards Association, at don.martin@ksba.org. Please limit your comments to characteristics or attributes of candidates and not specific names.
