Woodford County is a thriving community blessed with a unique combination of productive farmland, diverse industries, and magnificent natural landscapes. The county’s greatest strength, though, is an exceptional school system that has educated generations of talented individuals.
The Woodford County Public Schools Hall of Fame promotes the heritage of Woodford County’s education system by honoring its most accomplished alumni. Launched in 2012, the Hall of Fame writes a new chapter each year by inducting a group of accomplished graduates and community members. The organization is guided by a committee of dedicated volunteers who screen applications, select each year’s class, and organize events that celebrate the newest members of the Hall of Fame.
To be considered for inclusion, a candidate must be nominated by someone who can provide details of accomplishments and a thorough background of education, career highlights, athletic accomplishments, or other details that are relevant to one or more of the categories of induction.
By reading about each class of inductees, you’re sure to be impressed by the range and magnitude of accomplishments and service achieved by individuals with common bond: Each one has solid roots in Woodford County public schools.
