Need to Know
Instructional Resources Survey
Please take a few minutes and give us feedback on what you might want stocked in a resource/supply room and what larger instructional resources you would like. Jessica compiled a list of possible options for you to use as a guide.

Here is a link to the survey.
Student of the Month
Please let us know your October Student of the Month. It will be the student who displays responsibility. Here is a document were you can add your student name.

Essential Standards
We are going to be narrowing our standards and marking ones that are essential in ELA over the new few weeks. The district will use this to decide on essentials for the district. Please read the following protocol as this is what we will use to narrow our standards.

504 Students
If you have 504 students that have testing accommodations, please let us know when you are giving a classroom assessment and we can help you figure out accommodations.

If you are having volunteers come in for your party , THEY MUST HAVE A CURRENT BACKGROUND CHECK ON FILE. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER IF THEIR BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOT UP TO DATE.
Walk Throughs this Week
Walk Throughs this week will still be focused on 3C: Engaging Students. We will specifically be looking for the Inclusion, Discovery and Student Self-Reflection parts of the Instructional Cycle and Kagan structures used.
Action Items - Continued
The Fire Marshall came by last week as well and noticed that some classrooms are using Christmas Lights. He said they should only be used for a short amount of time like a holiday. He said that LED lights could be used with a transformer for the lights, this will help reduce the risk of fire. We will be coming around to check lights if you have some to see if they are the correct ones. We don't want him to come back and still see the same lights up.

Below is what he is referring to:
