Finish the school year healthy, happy, and strong! Meet our Healthy Kids Clinic nurse practitioner, Ibby Meeks! 🤍🩺
Did you know that Woodford County Public Schools has a nurse practitioner available to students and staff members five days a week? đź‘€
Meet Ibby! Ibby Meeks, APRN, is our nurse practitioner, and Ibby is amazing! 🥰🩺👏
Through our partnership with Cumberland Family Medical, each of our schools is a site for the Healthy Kids Clinic! In the Healthy Kids Clinic, students and staff members can receive wellness checks, physicals, and immunizations, be tested for strep throat, sinus infections, flu, and Covid, and so much more. Ibby can write a note for a prescription for a student or staff member to be filled at the pharmacy of their choice.Â
Our families and staff members love this resource because it all happens right in their school building! If a student is feeling sick, they will visit the school nurse. With the proper Healthy Kids Clinic consent form in place, Ibby can see the student to then give medicine, run tests, write a prescription, whatever is needed! The same is possible for each of our staff members!Â
It’s like having an urgent care clinic – right in each of our school buildings. 🏥🚨
That means busy parents don’t have to leave work to take their student to the doctor’s office. Teachers and staff members can pop down to the nurse’s office, be seen by Ibby, and pick up a prescription on their way home from work. The Healthy Kids Clinic cares for the health and well-being of our students and staff members while minimizing the disruption to daily routines.Â
You have questions, and we have answers! Stay tuned to our social media and ParentSquare as we highlight more of what is available to students and staff members in the Healthy Kids Clinic! 🙌

We’re in the final stretch of the school year, and we are determined to finish healthy, happy, and strong! Way to go, Woodford!Â
