⭐️ Logan Culbertson Hired as Woodford County Public Schools Director of Student Services ⭐️

Woodford County Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce that Mr. Logan Culbertson has been hired as the WCPS Director of Student Services. Mr. Culbertson has been a dedicated and impactful educator in WCPS for many years and in several capacities. He has also served in the Kentucky Army National Guard and has extensive military experience. In his service, he led personnel and executed combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning the Bronze Star Medal for his leadership and meritorious service. Mr. Culbertson’s experiences in the military and years in education combine to create the diligent, hard-working, servant-hearted leader that he is today.
Mr. Culbertson graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. A year later, he obtained a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education Business and Marketing from the University of Kentucky. In 2007, Logan earned another Master of Arts degree. His second Master of Arts degree is from Eastern Kentucky University in Instructional Leadership. Mr. Culbertson holds several certifications for leadership in public education.
Logan Culbertson began his career in education as a business teacher. In between his military experience, Mr. Culbertson was a business teacher at Woodford County High School. In August 2010, he joined the staff at Woodford County Middle School as a teacher in the Alternative Education Transition program. He grew in leadership and took on administrative responsibilities at the middle school. In July 2014, Logan Culbertson was hired as the Principal of Safe Harbor Academy. This role expanded, and in September 2022, Logan became the Coordinator of Alternative Programs for WCPS while continuing to lead Safe Harbor Academy.
Mr. Culbertson expresses his gratitude for Safe Harbor Academy and his enthusiasm for his new role. He says, “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the students and families of Safe Harbor and the Woodford Virtual Learning Academy. For the past twelve years, I have been humbled and inspired by our students as well as the servant leadership of these educators. I look forward to supporting our dedicated teams in Health Services, FRYSCs, Home Hospital, and the Safety Resource Officers. The safety and well-being of the Woodford County Public Schools students will remain our top priority.”
