Important Update Regarding Monday’s School Board Meeting & Community Resources During Winter Storm

Posted Date: 01/25/26 (03:00 PM)

Important Update Regarding the School Board Meeting on Monday, January 26

With the winter storm that has impacted Kentucky, the safety of our students and community is our top priority. To ensure the continuity of school business while keeping everyone off the roads, we have established the following plan for Monday’s School Board Meeting:

  • Watch from Home: We strongly encourage our community to stay safe and warm! The meeting will be live-streamed in real-time and will also be available for viewing after the meeting. Please visit the WCPS YouTube Channel to watch the meeting. The meeting begins at 6:00 PM.
  • Public Comment: You can still make your voice heard! Please email your public comments to jessie.rayburn@woodford.kyschools.us before 6:00 PM on Monday. These will be read into the official record during the meeting.
  • Meeting Status: While our facility will technically be open for in-person attendance to meet state requirements, we highly recommend utilizing the virtual livestream given the predicted road conditions.
  • Stay Informed: Any final updates regarding the status of the meeting will be shared on social media, our website, and sent via ParentSquare.

Please stay safe and look out for one another during the storm!
