NTI Preparation - Chromebooks Coming Home Today

Southside Families,

As we head into the winter months, we are preparing for the possibility of NTI days that could be called by Mr. Adkins, our superintendent, to continue learning when it is unsafe to come to school in person due to weather conditions. As part of this preparation, Chromebooks and chargers will come home with all students this afternoon. Students are to bring their Chromebook with them to school daily, but leave the charger at home. Please ensure the device is charged nightly so it will have plenty of battery for the school day. 

Classroom teachers will be communicating more specifics regarding assignment expectations on mornings when NTI days are called. On NTI days, teachers are available and ready to respond through email or ParentSquare during normal school hours, 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM. In addition, if your student would like to meet with their teacher virtually, all teachers will have live Google Meet office hours from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
